Hi, I’m Scott — designer of the Dolphin & Dog range. Like everything I make, this dog hoodie is produced in small limited-edition batches and shipped from Port Macquarie, NSW.
I wouldn’t be a proper dog brand if I didn’t add a hoodie to the range. Seeing dogs in hoodies brings an instant smile to my face, so when I decided to make one, I had to make the best version possible.
I’ll be honest — I seriously over-engineered this thing. The result is an impeccably made piece that people constantly ask about. It’s soft, comfortable, and genuinely one of a kind.

Dogs move constantly, so the fit needed to be relaxed, comfortable, and easy to wear. I focused on creating a dog jumper that feels natural for dogs while still looking stylish.
I painstakingly developed eight sizes to ensure the hoodie fits a wide range of breeds properly.
Like the rest of my Soul Surfer range, the fabric design is woven on a special loom, rather than being printed. The colours were carefully chosen to tell a story and create something premium and unique that will stand the test of time.

The Story Behind the Hoodie
When I started making these dog hoodies, I had one rule: it had to be the coolest dog hoodie there is. I’ve spent months tweaking the design—from the choice of materials to calculating sizing for multiple breeds (don't even get me started on the leg length testing!). I am now very good friends with my local seamstress. I obsessed over the entire construction and stitching of the hoodie to ensure it’s the most practical and functional dog jumper you’ll ever own.
I wanted to create something that is unique and can withstand daily zoomies, all while keeping your best friend cozy. Below are some of the most common questions I get about how these dog clothes fit and wear!
To get that perfect fit, I recommend measuring your dog’s chest girth (the widest part behind the front legs)
If your dog is between sizes, I always suggest sizing up to keep them comfortable in their new dog hoodie.
Absolutely. I designed these dog jumpers with a high-cut elasticated waist band, specifically to stay clear of the "splash zone." I wanted to make sure my gear never gets in the way of their business or their playtime.
Yes! I’ve included a reinforced leash slit on the back of every dog hoodie. It’s positioned perfectly so you can keep your dog's collar on underneath and simply clip the leash through in seconds
I know some dogs are "head shy," so I designed these with an extra-stretch neckline. It’s the perfect hoodie for dogs who are a bit fussy, as it slides over their head easily without any scary zippers or loud Velcro. Then just pop their front legs in.
I chose to make these out of 100% premium cotton. It’s soft enough that they don't even realize they're wearing it. Whether we're hanging out at home or hitting the beach, it’s the most comfortable dog apparel.
When your dog hoodie get sandy or muddy, just machine wash on cold and tumble dry on low. I use pre-shrunk cotton so you don't have to worry about it shrinking after the first wash.
