Microplastic Catching Laundry Wash & Travel Bag
Wash smarter, not harder. The only laundry bag designed to protect both your clothes and the ocean.
Synthetic fabrics (like activewear, fleece, and microfibre) shed thousands of tiny microfibres in every wash, which end up in our waterways. The Dolphin & Dog Microplastic Catching Bag stops this pollution at the source.
Industrial-Grade Filtration
This isn't just a standard mesh bag. It is engineered using Monofilament Nylon—the same material used in industrial filtration systems. This specialized weave allows water and soap to flow through freely to clean your gear, but traps the microscopic fibres inside so they can be disposed of in the bin, not the ocean.
The Ultimate Travel Hack
Designed for life on the go, this bag doubles as the perfect Travel Laundry Organiser. Use it to separate your "Lights" and "Darks" in your suitcase, or use it to quarantine smelly gym gear or wet swimmers in your car. When you get home, simply throw the whole bag straight into the washing machine.

A SMALL CHANGE IN YOUR LAUNDRY ROUTINE MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE.
The laundry wash bag is designed with a high-quality mesh that captures microplastics, preventing them from shedding into the water during your wash. Simply place your clothes inside the bag, add it to your washing machine, and wash as usual. It's that easy!
Made from 100% Nylon Monofilament for full recyclability, so no fibers are shed during the washing process.
Keep your clothes looking newer for longer by reducing shedding and piling
Protect your delicate items from damage during washing and prevent small items from getting lost or tangled in the washing machine.
Why I Made the Bag: Balancing Sustainability and Performance
In order to offer you high-quality textile products fit for the job, I had to use some petroleum-based fibers. I tested several versions of my products made with all-natural fibers, but these products didn't last as long, making them less environmentally friendly. The synthetic version proved superior in durability and overall performance.
As much as I believe in reducing plastic use, I still think it has its place when used responsibly. That's why I invented the microplastic-catching laundry bag you see before you. It allows us to enjoy the benefits of synthetic textile products without the harm of microplastics shedding during washing and reaching our waterways and oceans.
PROTECT THE OCEANS
When polyester, nylon, and other synthetic materials are washed, thousands of microfibers are released into the waterways, eventually reaching the ocean. The laundry wash bag is constructed with a mesh that captures these microplastics, preventing them from escaping during washing. Simply place your clothes inside the laundry wash bag, put it in your machine, and wash as normal.
MAKING THE LAUNDRY BAG
In order to create microplastic laundry bag, I collaborated with a factory that specializes in making industrial filters for large machines. I designed every component of the bag using the same material, a monofilament nylon, to ensure that the bag does not shed microfibers during the washing process.
PROTECT YOUR CLOTHES
Protect your delicate items from damage during washing. Keep your clothes looking newer for longer by reducing shedding and piling, and prevent small items from getting lost or tangled in the washing machine.
Simply place your synthetic clothes into the bag and add a washing machine tablet if you use one; otherwise, place detergent in the drawer. Zip up the laundry bag, place it in the machine, and wash as normal. Other laundry can be placed into the machine alongside the bag if needed.
Yes, over time, the bag will collect the fibers as they shed from your clothing. These fibers can be found in the seams of the bag, especially along the top band and in the corners.
The microfibres can be placed in your general waste bin, preferably in a sealed bag or container so they don't blow away.
